Please visit https://gateway.medicalboard.georgia.gov/ to register with our new licensing gateway in order to access your license page. Your old credentials will not work, you must register first. Here is an instruction guide:

INITIAL APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

DOCUMENTS TO UPLOAD TO YOUR PORTAL:

  1. Temporary Postgraduate Training Permit Affidavit of Applicant 

2. Certificate of Postgraduate Training Form

3. Citizenship Affidavit for Medical Board Resident Training Permit

4. Letter of Good Standing is required IF the resident is entering the program as a PGY2 or higher.

5. Medical School Diploma

6. ECFMG Certification if applicable

RENEWAL APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:

  1. Renewal Checklist and information

2. Certificate of Post Graduate Training Form for Renewals

3. Residency Training Permit Notarized Affidavit (for NON-US Citizen - Only) - Renewal

4. List of Secure and Verifiable documents needed for Non-Us citizens - DO NOT UPLOAD THIS

If you are GME staff and have RTP/Fellowship initial and renewal application issues contact:

The Physician staff named on the licensing application portal or the Resident Training Permit department. Use NextRequest to submit to the appropriate Physician license tech.
