Public Notice: Reporting Issues with the New ThoughtSpan Licensing Portal
The Georgia Composite Medical Board (GCMB) has recently launched our new licensing database and application platform, ThoughtSpan, as part of our ongoing commitment to improve service and efficiency for all applicants and licensees. As with any major technology upgrade, some users may experience unforeseen errors, misworded items, or other issues in the early stages of implementation.
We are actively identifying and resolving these problems, and your feedback is essential to this process.
If you encounter any errors, confusing items, or technical issues while using the ThoughtSpan system, please report them directly to the Board through our NextRequest portal:
https://gcmb.nextrequest.com/
To submit an issue:
- Select the department “ThoughtSpan Licensing Database Issues.”
- Clearly describe the problem, including what you were trying to do, any error messages you received, and relevant details about your application or license type.
- If you wish to attach screenshots or images, please note that you must first create a NextRequest account and sign in before uploading files.
The more detailed and explanatory your submission, the more effectively we can investigate and resolve your concern. Please document each issue thoroughly, including steps to reproduce the problem if possible.
We appreciate your patience and collaboration as we continue to refine the new system. Your input is invaluable in helping us deliver a reliable, user-friendly experience for all Georgia healthcare professionals.
For all issue submissions, please use the NextRequest portal at https://gcmb.nextrequest.com/ and select “ThoughtSpan Licensing Database Issues.”
