All meetings for the GCMB and its Committees are open to the general public, in compliance with the Open Meetings Act. The open session portion is held at the beginning of each meeting, and business conducted during this time may include responses to correspondence and information on rule amendments, advisory opinions, and general updates.
The Board and its Committees may discuss confidential information, which means they will enter executive session, and all members of the public must leave the room or call. Once the meeting returns to open session, all individuals in the waiting room will be admitted into the meeting.
All Committee recommendations are presented to the full Board for final consideration. Agendas are posted one week prior to the meeting (unless extenuating circumstances prevent this).
The virtual meetings are no longer being held on full board day; the board has moved to in person meetings only for full board day.
