Apply or Renew Online

The Board has an online licensing system:

gcmb.mylicense.com/egov

Through the online licensing site, users can:

Submit an initial, reinstatement, or renewal application
Update personal information or practice location information
Upload application documentation
Check the status of your application

Professional Licenses

You will be required to set up a new User ID and Password for using the new system by clicking "Register a Person".

If you currently hold or previously held a license in a profession licensed by GCMB, you will be matched to your existing record in our database when you provide your Last Name (as you were licensed), Date of Birth, License Number and press the Search button.

NOTE: You are not required to enter a Renewal ID, Registration Code, or National Provider ID.

If you have not held a license in Georgia, enter your Last Name, Date of Birth and press the Search button. You will be able to enter information to create an account.

License Renewals for Non-U.S. Citizens

The State of Georgia requires all applicants for a public benefit (which includes a professional license) to have their presence in the U.S. lawfully verified through the Dept. of Homeland Security's SAVE program. For applicants who are U.S. citizens, this is completed only at initial licensure, but for non-U.S. citizens, it must be completed at both initial licensure and every license renewal. To verify lawful presence, please provide the GCMB with a notarized Citizenship Affidavit and a copy of at least one secure/verifiable document. It can be scanned and emailed to [email protected].

Pain Clinics

If you wish to apply for a Pain Clinic license, renew an existing Pain Clinic license, submit a name or address change for a Pain Clinic, request a duplicate Pain Clinic ID Card, select Register a Business from the menu on left.
